Cool - might want to do a comparison check on the B4\after fuel mileage

Just what are you saying, GMCTD... does it look like it might lower the MPG?

While it looks neat, it exposes a large area of the wide front tires and front suspension to direct air flow, originally covered by the aerodynamic shape of the front bumper - will be interesting to note the effects (or lack of effects, ground-type) as ground speed increases.

As a side note, I became increasingly obsessed with the Buckstop front bumpers - the shape and form seemed to closely comply with that of the oem bumper, complementing the front of the Dodge - however, as money accrued for the purchase price + shipping, the price of Diesel fuel kept rising - it was over 3bucks\gallon at that hoped-for juncture of financial credibility - having noted the similar uncovering and exposure of front tire and suspension, and the fact that the oem bumper weighed 65lbs while the Buckstop weighs over 200lbs, I fretted over the high cost of fuel for a while, then ordered the bumper nude in order to modify it, including welding on a full-width chin spoiler to restore overall effects and deflect airflow around the tires, ala the oem bumper - the high cost of Diesel fuel might give anyone pause when adding heavy deadweight accessories to the vehicle, particularly if they also reduce fuel mileage by design.

IMO, of course..........

This bumper was really designed to improve your approach angle for offroad driving, at the expense of on-road comfort and fuel economy, and perhaps even safety (if it causes your airbags to deploy at lower speeds, as has been suggested).

My understanding is that LinL bought this bumper as a replacement for one that a deer destroyed, and he's hoping to fare better against other deer in the future. Hopefully he went in with his eyes wide open, knowing that he was installing an offroad bumper, not a highway deer pusher. :)

I read it weighs 120 pounds, how much without the stinger? Also, how much weight does the receiver hitch support?
Nice looking bumper, do you have any installation instructions that can be reviewed?

How does the Tranny cooler do? It looks like there will be no ram air helping to keep it cool.

On my 05' it is in front of the radiator and air to air so the bumper doesent change anything that way. And I believe that people are starting to add a secondary as well.
