Is anyone running tc-w3 in their liberty? I run tc-w3 in my LB7 Duramax to increase the lubricity of the ULSD with good results and would like to do the same in my wifes liberty. However im concerned, in that my LB7 has no CC and the liberty does.
Thanks,
Adrian

Hi - this is a helpful link to to an earlier discussion on this subject.

viewtopic.php?t=27336

Basically - at the worst, it is unlikely to do harm, and at best, may help with combustion and improved mpg. The South Africans on another board I go to recommend 500ml/100L.

I add about 8oz of tc-w3 at every fill up.

What do you mean when you say your D-max has no CC but the CRD does?

I actually mix it with PS and pour in at every fill-up (500 to 750 ml mix)

PowerService

I too was using a tc-w3/PowerService blend but I no longer see any need for it.
PowerService claims to add lubricity and be a cetane improver but I havent noticed any
benefit of one over the other, mixed or not.
So I just use tc-w3.
No real cost benefit of one over the other either.

I believe that adding tc-w3 at each fill up will allow my injection pump to last longer.
Only time will tell if this is true or not.

I have a ticking sound at idle that with the use of 6oz or so of 2cycle per tank seemed to quite down.

Use a few dollars worth of biodiesel in your fuel tank and your engine will love you.

Hurts nothing, keeps the fuel pump running smoothly, cleans the fuel system and quiets the engine.

Biodiesel is a lubricant that reduces wear and tear on engine parts by almost one half! In fact it is already added to many petrodiesel fuels to increase the lubricity of diesel engines and fuel systems. It is also a solvent that can help keep your system clean.

Sick of seeing black smoke flume out from your exhaust. Biodiesel burns cleaner and produces less smoke. The smoke it does produce is white as opposed to black.

Your fuel filter will get clogged the first time you use biodiesel with the junk that it flushes out of the fuel lines and your tank, so have a new filter ready.

Once the system is cleaned you will not need to replace the fuel filter except at maintenance intervals.

Works great for me and I love how smooth the engine runs.

I run it all the time 8oz/tank for D2 16oz/tank for D1. no increase in mpg, it does quiet the engine a little.

Not so
The problem with finding Biodiesel is all the lists seem to be hopelessly out of date.
I did a quick Google search and found this and depending on how current it is there might be more.
Here's nation wide one where you key in your zip
But there are at least six within the search criteria in my area I know of that are not listed :dizzy:

Here's one just showing Florida :jester:

If anyone can come up with a better list please post it
