I have not tried running it without the serpentine belt on, Never thought to do that I will try it , I have had it off and spun all of the pullies none of them seem to be lagging or getting held up , they all spin pretty freely , I can only think that perhaps the AC compressor is faulty or the clutch on the front of the ac compressor is pooched I bought this vehicle and this part was "replaced" as it was found on inspection to be faulty . It does look bran new though. I just don't want to go replacing everything in the front or double replacing things the tensioner I have has a parts warrenty so that's good But its not that . Is there any way on this site to uplink a video ?
HOWEVER what you say makes total sense if the alternator pully is going and than the rubber is worn on the other it would probably cause everything else to keep going hence the reason why there seems to be so much torque or struggle I don't know how else to word that
ike oh and black smoke def unrelated I should have been more clear I plan on deleting this but one problem at a time than I have to figure out where to get all the crap to delete it and make sure I don't have a bunch of codes going off inside
