Because it is not running in that sweet spot every engine has. They are sit to run a certain rpm at a certain speed, more or less. So stock yours may of ran best at say 65 at 2100 RPMs. ( just examples) Now you go and install oversize tires. At 65 you are now running at 1850 RPM and the engine is lugging going down the road, any little hill it shifts down, its already not running smoothly and now it has to keep shifting to try and maintain a good RPM. So bad on the trans/ bad gas mileage/and way down on power
Real simple really

^^^^ what he said ^^^^

Real funny, I offer you 2 tires for a steal, they are going to run more here soon, just got another message from them last week.

oh well maybe someday you'll make up your mind :ROTFL:

they still don't make them anymore...

I couldn't use them if I had bought them.

I might buy them if they ever start making them again

At what tire size (bigger than stock 225/75/16) would you say this starts becoming a problem with gas KJs with 45RLE? Would a change to 4.10 be better if you were running the popular 245/75/16?

I never really noticed too much difference until I got over the 245-75/265-70 mark. Of course depends on the tires as well, like the 245-75-16 Goodyear MTRs they are a heavy tire so you would notice a difference in take off etc. But all in all, above 245-75s
