Will 15x8" rims with 3.75" backspacing fit, or will they stick out too far?

I think I recall someone who was running 16x8" rims with 5" B.S. with 1.25"/1.5" spacers, which would come out to 3.5"-3.75" Backspacing.

They would fit, but you would have some very bad rubbing to contend with. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have 8" wide wheels with 4.5" backspacing, seen here:

3.75" would stick out even further...

I am lucky enough to not have any front wheel liners/bumper to rub on, I will do a test fit at a local tire shop to se how bad it will be, unless anyone else chimes in.

You will need more then 4" of lift to make those rims work if your mounting any tire bigger then a 31" tire,I know from personal experience with 16x8 rims with 3.75" BS with 265/75R16's.
