Post subject:  WK CRD CCV CCV venting??

Hello all, do you know if it is possible to perform an elephant mod to vent the CCV on a 2008Grand CRD until a provent is installed? will it cause any problems, or check engine malfunction?

Thank you

Don't know. Don't know of anyone else on this board that has a Grand CRD. Welcome.

If your CCV is setup the same as on the Liberty I wouldn't think it would cause a cell. Its a cheap mod, give it a try. :D

Thanks I agree I also have an 05 Liberty CRD and this was the first thiing I did when we got it home with 1 mile, the 08 CRD is new and has around 300 miles, I have just purchased a Provent filter and will just go ahead and install it in a couple of days

The little Liberty is still doing great the milage has continued to improve we average around 29mpg mostly flat, county roads around 55-60 mph
