Been waiting for months now with no word. Just a little pic and some pricing hints would be enough. Not asking them to open the new site early. I think we've all been pretty patient and understanding.

The pricing and availability is on his website: COMING JUNE 2013! KK Rock Monitor bumper with 3/4" recovery tabs $875.00 + shipping.

Crap. Didn't scroll down far enough. :???: still no updated photos though.

Well rocklizard does say the bar will be the same as the kj bar, but with modifying brackets to fit the kk.

The frame/ mounting etc on the KK is the same as the KJ , ( heck even the firewall is the same between the KJs and KKs ) so nothing much has to be changed as far as mounting points. With the new modular system the center section can be the same for 02-04, 05-7 KJs and then all KKs . Simplifies everything a lot
Now I'll be quiet as to the rest of it

The turn signal and headlight are the biggest issue with adapting a KJ bar to a KK...

Having fitted a steel bumper onto the KK just recently I agree the indicators are the trickiest part. I had to modify the supplied brackets to make the lenses line up correctly. End result was good, but I'm intending to give feedback to the manufacturer to revise the design for 2 axis of adjustment not just side to side. See completed job here: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=75546 Btw, I would have loved Mtnlvrs stuff but I'm just not that patient...

Any update on these things possibly going into production? There isn't anything out there for the KK, other than grille guards, that I can find.

That it not mtnlvr's bumper. It is a different bumper. Frankly, while it is nice, it isn't even in the same league as mtnlvr's bumper. The biggest issue with it is the fact that it deletes he turn signals in favor of two metal blanks. The blanks end up looking like Mickey Mouse ears. Really stupid.

Mtnlvr doesn't have bumpers for sale nor has he ever had them for sale. I'm simply posting a link to a place that sells KK bumpers.

It's honestly a shame he never sold the front bumper, or the plans for it at least. I think it is the best looking metal front bumper we have for the KK. No offense to AtTheHelm(also makes awesome bumpers) or Rock Lizard(sorry guys, not feeling the bumper. It's nice, but to me it just doesn't fit the KK, you don't see the gaps on the KJ models and it actually follows the lines of the fenders on the sides, unlike the KK bumper. Not sure if it is actually like that in person or if the pictures are just a mock up or something though).

One of the issues with Mtnlvr's bumper was the complexity of it. Sure it looked ok ( not a fan of it) but trying to build several would of been a real Bit** in the amount of labor to produce in volume. To make money on one like that would take selling thousands not 50 possibly. Lots of cutting /welding etc involved . The cost to make a few ( 20-30) you'd have to charge a lot more than current bumpers are going for
As far a RLs goes, some may bit** about it, but that is his style through out all of his bumpers, same basic shape, just cause the KK has the huge turn signals doesn't mean he should or needs to change his whole style. Thats his look love it or hate it.

Here is another avenue
write to Gen Right Off Road
they produce a lot of products for the Wrangler crowd. If enough "REASONABLE " requests come in maybe they will start making products for the KJs/ KKs
send emails to
President of the company, email andrew@genright.com and keith@genright.com (sales team) requesting products.
something along these lines
To Whom It May Concern,

We as KK/KJ owners really like the GR product quality and looking for KK/KJ products to be produced. We have a LOT of KK/KJ owners in our club who need armor, bumpers, flares and there are no manufacturers producing what we like. Can you assist?

Respectfully,
...........

Good idea Tom, they look like they make some very quality parts, but they don't even make anything for the XJ, MJ, ZJ or WJ, why would they ever start producing parts for the KJ/KK before those?

They're working on XJ parts
But if they get a lot of requests who knows
