So the daystar top plate hampers the lift of the front? When I look at them they look the same. No joke its lowering my lift?!
STOCK PLATES AND DAYSTAR PLATES ARE NOT THE SAME Hopefully this week ill be able to get slightly used OME front struts so that will help a bit im sure. Once I have them put on, I have a thought...
Can I use spring isolators in front and rear for say a 1/2 in of extra lift? not enough to cause issues with the UCA, but a little more to appease my lift-lust. Avoiding the clevis lift, I fear my lack of understanding would some how cause an issue.

The top plates i was talking about are actually shims that go on top of the top plates (also called strut mounts) They are available in 1/4" and 3/8" thicknesses and will give 1/2" to 3/4" lift respectively
I know you mention these, will they work independent of the clevis lift? and are these what you mentioning? (See link)

JEEPINBYALHAS THESE AS WELL Down the road I will be doing an entire lift kit, EVERY THING included for a 4in, But thats $3,000.00 + so no go for now.
You just need the stock plates in front, OME springs good shocks whatever you choose, add in top plates from JeepinByAl/Boiler/Rustys where ever you choose a clevis lift of 3/8 inch and be done
