Have those of you that have the Frankenlift installed on your Libby adjusted the CV boots out further so the bellows aren't touching, all squished up against each other? If so, after adjustment, does the boot stay where you placed it even though there isn't a groove machined in the CV halfshaft where it is now installed?

Thanks,
Ron

I have about 25K miles (on my 03) on my Frankenlift w/out moving the boots and no problems w/ them. We will see how it works out on my 04 since swapping the FL to it.

I had a CV boot replaced after the lift was installed, and it definitely looked a lot better than before, now that all the bellows aren't squished. I considered having them re-do the other side, too, but seeing as the factory clamp is welded, they'd probably have to just replace the whole thing anyway, I may as well wait until it fails.

It high-ordered, aka, high-order detonation, blew up, disintegrated, etc. Or, I tore my CV boot!
