Hey!

If you feel like following Mike (Talon) up to my mecca (garage that is) next Saturday, I would be more than happy to help you install. Air bags, cool...baging the entire Libby or just the helper type? Another Idea I had and someone is going to beat me too it! :?

Al, are you guys doing some work on your Jeeps on the 27th? If so, mind if I join in and give a hand. I'm on vacation anyway and would love to do some wrenching. Oh and George, I don't know much about airbags, but I could help for a little bit in the morning. I have to be at work at 3pm though. Let me know for sure.

Yep, that's the Saturday (the 27th) I ment! Mike (Talon) will be up so we can install his boulder bars, and I will be inviting Tammy and her husband. So the more poeple to wrench the faster we will get done. All I ask is that you bring refreshments, water, beer, soda, etc. etc. I will have the coffee pot on and donuts, and you can get here anytime after 8:00 in the morning. PM Mike and the others to see if you can link up with them. PM me if you could for conformation you are coming and for directions, or at least my address! We are kind of limited on three Jeeps at a time in the garage, if it is not raining. If it is raining the tractors (antique) and the hot rod will remain inside, so we will only have enough room for one or two depending what we are up too.

As always I am looking forward to wrenching with all of you! Bring the wives, girl friends (but not both) and kids. If the kids get too unrulely, we will tie raw chicken around thier necks and send them out back, to see if they can play with the bear!! ( I would tell my kids that when they were being bad!)

For dinner we can order in pizza, or if we finish early enough, you can be on your way. It will be a couple hour drive for most of you.

Al

Sounds like fun. I may be up in Pa. Friday night so wouldn`t hook up until Al`s place but when I know for sure, I`ll post.

I have family in the Allentown and surrounding area so I`ll either be up Friday evening or just go to Al`s Saturday morning. Most likely the former. Wrong side of Pa. for ya. :(

Well I thought we would be bringing the GC up to Al's but that has changed it looks as though I am going to join the party and install my Skyjacker lift on Saturday also. Thats right "STOCKBOY" (the title bestowed upon me by our VP) will no longer be stock. Sorry to have to do this to you Mike but you knew that my Jeep would one day grow up.

Just teasin` ya. It`s great to see it finally lifted. It`ll do wonders compared to being stock. I`ll try to be there 8-9am.

Yeah Al, can you PM or e-mail us some directions. Definitely would love to lend a hand on that Skyjacker install.

Just PM both of yous guys (said with my very best Jersey shore accent). Any way, some poeple are showing up around 8:00 others will be there by 11:00. So come on up. The mo' hands the mo' wrenches turning. It looks like we are going to be very busy! Last time I checked the weather should be good! Also, as an added bonus, if we finish early enough, we can drive over to Pa. about 40 mins away we can go to this really big hotrod show. I think there will be 50's do-wop band playing later that night.

Anyone (Talon) coming up Friday night, Island Dragway, some 20 mins south of me is having the Jet Cars and end of summer drags!

Now, the next question for the morning, coffee, tea, and what......donuts or bagels? Do any of you early birds plan to bring anything? Hey I should get Edgar to come  from NYC and stop at the bakery where he got all those great cookies and other delights.

Al

PS Anyone bringing tools, please mark them with colored tape, or paint, so we all have the same number at the end of the day. Believe me, when we get done the last thing we want to be doing is determining where and with whom the tools go!

Hey guys, do any of you who plan on coming have an SWR meter for the CB? If so, could you bring it up. I really need to check the tuning on my antenna. After that radio fiasco I had at GWNF, I don't want to go through that again if I'm trying to lead the ride.

Dave I was going to send you a reminder on that issue before the run. If no one has one I am sure I can find someone around me.

Here is the most recent list of members coming to the "Jeepin Al Garage":

Mike and Wendy(?) (Talon 1)
Tammy and Jim (02 Liberty)
Chris and hisa better half(?) (WVOIIIIIIIIO)
David and (?) (Chefdab)
George and (?) (Speleorelic)

The question marks indicate the fact that I am not sure if they are also coming.

Anybody else?

Al

As an added bonus there is that car show in Pa. and Riverfest about 10 mins away from me. Local bands play all day non stop music outside along the Delaware. So if anybody gets bored with wenching and talking Jeeps, they can escape for a while.
