Im installing a CB radio and sub in my jeep and i cannot find a way through the firewall. I was going to let it go through with the steering wheel column but i dont think its safe to do that. I found the stock wires that go through the firewall but i can fit the radion wire or the thick amp wire. Anybody have any suggestions?

Where is the stock amp on the Kj. Like the WJ's are under the passenger side rear seat.

With the standard audio package the stock amp is built into the head unit. In the premium audio package the configuration is the same, only the audio is further amplified by amps built into the front door speakers. For the audio portion of your wiring I believe you'll want to combine the left and right channel, run the combined signal through a low pass filter, and then run that into your mono amp. Many amps will have a built in low pass filter and some may even combine the channels for you.

i dont want to replace the whole system since im on a budget with the lift and tires. So far im stuck on the RCA wires that connect the amp to the speakers. I have power and its grounded but dont know where to put the speaker wires. I have them hooked up on the amp but im not quite sure where to put it on the other end.
