I have not seen any posts in several days. Where are the stories and pics from Big Bear? I have seen the ones in the Big Bear pic thread, but that's not alot, considering the number of folks up there.

What else is going on?

Come on, I just officially joined the club and hope there will be more activity!

Robert

Still no entries!! I am begining to wonder if the $39 was worth it? I don't mind paying and helping the club. I fully support the cause.

I really enjoy wheeling with you guys, but there is an extreme lack of activity on this board. I watch several different boards and this one hardly has any new posts. I have looked at other threads on this board and most of them have no new entries for weeks or months.

Where is everyone? Are there any gatherings going on? Does anybody wheel here?

darn dude let these people have a weekend with their families. You know life isn't just wheeling and sitting in front of the computer. I wouldn't go around taking shots at this club. The people in this club have done a lot of great things and are some of the most dedicated people within this family oriented activity I have ever wheeled with. I wouldn't want to wheel with anyone else!

To answer your question about spending 39 dollars on a membership, well it is worth it, your gonna have to sit back and let things develop around here.

Hey zjmikey
I'm here. I didn't take any pictures but I had fun! Wanted to go with the big boys to Deep Creek again but wanted to keep Wally company and see his SFA work out on Holcomb Creek. Robert took some great pictures of you guys on your run I heard you guys breezed through it in couple of hours. The rain made for some interesting challenge. Couple of the KJs had the factory Track lock and one had problems with his compressor and his ARB wasn't working. We strapped them out when they got hung up. The hill after the creek was muddy and that was fun going up it. I got a flat on the last water crossing a cut on the side wall on my new MTR. I didn't go on Sunday's run did not want to be out on the trail without a spare. Went to Allen Tire Store and got a new MTR just had to pay for balancing and mounting. The dinner was great thanks to all who made this event happen and maybe next year will have better weather but you know what I like the rain make's it fun. Just don't rain at night!!

Robert,
Pics and such are posted over HERE.
I have a few hundred pics to weed through and then I hope to post up some more. Been way too busy running the roads since I got back from BB and more running to do.
Don't get all uppity on us, IIRC you were one of the guys that missed the Deep Creek pre-run. Poke Poke!

Not rying to poke and make anyone upset. I am sorry if folks got offended. I was simply trying to make a point about the lack of activity on the board.

Yes, I have missed several runs and meetings due to work, family, anf life. Unfortunately, NO wheeling is not all I do... though I wiwsh I could make a living doing it :)

Again, if I upset a few folks, I am sorry. I am just used to more activity with my other "clubs/lists".

Sorry...

No prob. Unfortunately, our members are pretty busy folks too that don't post enough to keep this section active. However, w/ new people like you around perhaps that might change? Don't worry about that One person who kinda got upset, He's not even a KJ WEST member anymore.

Robert. You had better get that gas card paid off, because your going to need it. It's only been 1 week since BB. Let us recharge are batteries, dry out our tents, and we will be ready to go again here real fast. Got stuff in the works. If you have any ideas on trips you would like to see happen, please PM me and I'll pass the info down.

I like the enthusiasm. Keep it up.

IIRC, these trips are upcoming, but I don't know how committed we are:

(1) Oceano Dunes. This is not a LOST thing. This one is organized by another club (SoCal XTerra). August 19th is the official date, one night of camping.

(2) Last Chance.

(3) Death Valley.

Cool. Thanks.

I will be planning another Big Bear trip in the very near future. I know not everyone likes Big Bear, but it's not to far away from alot of folks and the trails are fun.

I will post up the details once I get it ironed out.

Robert

Big Bear grows kind of old fast, but right now, with temperatures at 100+, anything above 7k' sounds good to me. And a day in the mountains is better then any day at work. Once it gets cooler out, we will plan some desert running. I would like to do a Glamis run this fall. Not much 4x4ing for jeeps out there, but it's fun to watch all the people.

Hey I heard about this really cool trail called Cleighorn. Does anyone want to try it. Burchie is always up for a challenge... I would be more than willing to help anyone that would need help with righting a flop or something. (I still want to go back)

Whether we are members of this club by paying staus or not. We have every right to stand up for those that I consider close friends and some family. Maybe we took this a little personal but we shouldn't be chastised or criticized about our feelings.

We also feel it to be unappropriate that what ever our status within KJ West be spread over into other boards on this forumn. It may have been just a friendly joke but in some ways it has offended us and was taken too far!

Hmmm... I never expected you would take it seriously and personally, especially coming from Me. Sorry.
