I'm looking for an EVIC for my 05 Liberty that supports TPMS, Homelink, and a sunroof. I know that since 2005 the TPMS system has changed such that the sensors no longer need to be "programmed" with the magnet. My Liberty came from the factory with all of the TPMS sensors but with the crappy EVIC that doesn't have individual tire pressures. I'm guessing that since I have an 05 I'll need an EVIC out of an 05 or 06. Long story short, will only the 05 and 06 EVICs work in an 05 Liberty that already has a poseur EVIC, TPMS sensors, and temperature sensor? Are there any other vehicles that have a TPMS/Homelink/Sunroof EVIC that is identical to what would come in a Liberty? There's only one EVIC on eBay now and I don't think it has TPMS. Are there any specific keywords that I should be using to find an EVIC on eBay?

Most of them have the button for the sunroof already. If you find on that doesn't, just get out the dremel and use the switch that's on the dome light. You can use the hold on the dome light as a template for the EVIC.

I don't think the 05/06 EVICs have a switch for the dome lights. You actually push the light itself to turn it on/off.

I'm curious to see how that goes. I too am stuck with the EVIC without the individual tire sensors. If I'd known that when I said "no tire pressure monitor" that I was going to be getting it anyway, I'd have spent the extra $75 to make it look nice and be useful.

I was looking at the inside of an EVIC on one of these sites and it appears that the sunroof switch is a completely different assembly anyways. If I found one without a sunroof switch I could just steal its EVIC circuit board and install it into my existing overhead console and then put my old EVIC circuit board back into the new overhead console and resell it as the poseur EVIC without sunroof  I'm going to try contacting a few junk yards in the area today, unfortunately those are kind of limited here :(

That is what I'll be doing next week...found an 04 EVIC for $80 with Homelink, but no sunroof switch. Transplant to commence in 5......4.......3....................
