Wow...I reckon to prepare for something like that you'd have to keep your roof open and an ear or 2 open for noise...but still, you never can be ready I think for something like that. Just a case of wrong place at he wrong time.

Bad timing for the Texan and smart/quick thinking on the woman's part.

A coupple months ago, a large boulder landed on a parked Camry in the Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The Camry was parked along the side of the road where no other cars park. Just a simple pull off site. Luckily the guys were out exploring nature when the boulder fell. What are the odds of that also? Of all the places it could have fallen or where he could have parked. It happened to fall right on top of the Camry during that short moment in time.
