That is the Infamous "Liberator".

The lift is custom (not SFA); but the same guys are working on the equally infamous "Superlift".

I believe they run it with 33" also.

The bumper is custom also.

First one is the Superlift Liberator. It's still IFS, but it's not a kit that is available yet (or ever)

The second one is a Rock Krawler 7-up lift. It's neither an SFA nor a really good lift. Rock Krawler stopped selling it, assumedly because of the poor reviews it got and a lot of bad offroad experiences with the steering. It's probably fine for an on-road show-only vehicle, but if you want offroad performance, you're better off going SFA or with the normal 2-3" lift.

What you really wanna ask yourself is, What is Jeepin Al running?

i believe he is running the not-so-good rock krawler lift. i'm not very familiar w/ this lift but from what everyone else on here says, its junk. somthing about the cv angles i think :?: the other issue is that i think he is also running the stock 8.25 rear axle. that will eventually break or allready has broken due to the fact that the axle can't handle any much bigger than 32" tires.

the way i look at it... if you are going to lift that big, just spend the $$$ and do a SFA set up.

IIRC, the problem was with the front steering not being strong enough to keep both wheels pointed the same direction, especially when offroad or in any kind of stressed situation. I wouldn't worry about the rear 8.25, it's the Dana 30A in the front that will explode trying to carry 35s.

And don't blame the liberty too much for that. Even if you're in a wrangler, if you want to lift it and put 35s on it, you should really be swapping out the axles.

Does that front tire look a lot bigger than the rear? Optical illusion?

The white KJ pictured with the Before/After is the infamous Rock Krawler 7-up lift which a couple of LOST members suffered through spending thousands and breaking on them on the easiest of trails and RK not providing any support. Avoid it like the plague. The Liberator is cool/rad/bad/awesome/totally tubular/beotchin as H E double matchsticks. Built by Superlift and hopefully one day will sell the lift.

I think it is just mud on the back tire that gives the optical illusion of a bigger front.
