AUGUST 27th RUN TO NH

not sure on that one but they may not do it,you should be able to get one for an 03 though with out a problem,if not an 04 should fit all it is is 3 nutzerts & 3 bolts very simple to install & the holes should be already there thier kinda hex shaped holes 2 on the frame rail & 1 on the cross member area in front of the transfer case

looks lik I am not going to make this one, I will be installing my lift and other goodies that weekend.

so the next things up are...?

blitzwing has a run in CT on the 23 of sept. and on the 24th there in som jeep show in CT I read about on this forum. I will have to decide which one of these to attend.

But we didn't even pick a weekend, yet, it's still either the 20th or the 27th, depending on when people can make it. Which weekend are you lifting? Also, which day is it? installing a lift shouldn't take more than a day, so it'd be really good to throw the lift on and then hit the trail the next day to get it to settle fast.

And if it was going to be that sunday, you can't postpone it at all? I'm all for lifting, but the point of having a lifted jeep is for the trail rides, and missing a trail ride to lift a jeep seems counter-intuitive :-P

Like skipping a ski trip to go ski shopping. You'll still have a lot of fun even before you get the lift on...and it might even be good for you to get an idea of what the jeep can do stock so that you can really see the improvement.

lifting the 19th and 20th, I cant do much(knee junk) so i need my nephew (no mechanical experiance) to do everything while i stand/sit and tell him what to do. gonna be quite a mess i figure, and may take both days. (hope not)

Also I ordered skids so I really want them on before i go wheeling, hopefully they get here by the weekend so I can install them at the same time.

if all goes well, the 27th could be do-able

OK guy's I see most feedback for the 27th so it WILL BE THE 27th of Aug.
here's the meeting details:

MEETING time/place 9:00am first rest area in NH off 95 just past welcome sign we will hang around till 9:30 for straglers I'll send you my cell# if ya need it

WHERE around Rochester NH IT IS A LEGAL RIDE,I can't give specifics we have to keep this place under wraps but it should be fun

you should have skid plates at the very least,this is virgin territory for us so I don't know what too expect but we had a blast on the last run near here,if you don't have skid's we will do our best too make sure you get threw OK

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW

mapquest driving directions will help with that

use your ending directions as seabrook NH it's in the general area of the rest area,just DON'T get off the highway till you see the rest area

if your going to make it definitly I'll send you my cell # incase ya need it

If anybody is coming and doesn't have a CB installed, I have a magnet mount antenna you can borrow. I don't have a spare radio, but if an install is something you were planning at some point anyway, you can pretty easily buy a radio and do a temp-install by wiring it up to a cigarette lighter and slapping the magnet mount on the roof. It'll get you by until you decide to go all out for a permanent radio.

And if you're interested in getting a 4 foot white firestik antenna, let me know. I think I will be buying a 3 foot black antenna at some point soon. Once I get a new antenna, I'll sell this one for what I paid for it from Wayne ($12). It'll save you a ton in shipping, you'll just need to get a cable + mount.

Hey raceinfan looks like you have a good start on a run going. I am still not sure what date we will be over in Boston. Should know by mid week though. Of course will have to unload ALL the STUFF that we will be bringing over for my wifes stay in your great part of the country. Then would be ready.I will let you know as soon as I find out for sure.
