This was an interesting day. We met at the meeting spot and left at 9:10 AM, us XJ guys were the last to get there. I was a little late leaving the house, but we made it from OC in less than an hour.

Wally gave us a great tour of the foothills in the high dessert. There was only one "fun" spot and that is where these pics were taken:

I had my wife and 3 yr old son in the XJ and they are new to offroading so I took the easy line to the left. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to go the fun line and I know the XJ would have done just fine.

Due to the scenic route, it was late in the day when we finally reached 3n14 go to White Mountain. My son was restless, so we headed home. A couple of other folks also left whiel Wally and a few other continued on to White Mountain.

Next time, I think we will skip the scenic route.. :D

See you all next time!!

That gave me flashbacks from my first time taking the KJ off road.

I'll let you know if I find any good deals on a new seat cushion.

Were you imagining (?looks wrong?) where you would end up at the bottom of the hill? You should bring some depends on the next run. :D
