We have an 06 Liberty,and want to fit a pair of Hella 500 driving lights, but my boyfriend and I have looked underneath the plastic bumper, and there is a gap between the original outside plastic bumper and the metal part underneath?
Has anybody here added additional lights? Please can you tell me how you fitted them?

I have a set of PIAA lights to mount under my '05 bumper. I am planning on removing my cosmetic bumper and using an appropriate set of holes in the metal "frame" under the bumper. I don't know when I will get the time to tear into that project though. There is another post floating around here, Ripster or Retmil is the author I think, showing his Liberty torn down for some serious additions. I think it shows (or describes) how to remove the bumper.

I will add to this when I get my lights mounted, and bumper Dremmeled to fit the lights. Good luck on your install.
