I also ordered the map of the entire Tillamook OHV trails. The ones on the website arent' really that good. I should get it in a week or so I think. I will be compiling maps of every place to go in Oregon and Southern WA....but these things take time and money...

None of the stuff on #4 or #5 I was on was difficult. #3 appear to be old fire roads with some stream crossings and access roads to the old fire towers. Lots of rancher's rigs on the road being used for work out east.

OK, how do you delete posts?

I went into edit, but it wouldn't let me delete them.

Hey Bullet!

I received your PM a couple of days ago and have been thinking on it for a while.

You are almost close enough, I would like to get with you to take a look at your Frankenlift!

But to the point. While I tentatively like the idea of an Oregon L.O.S.T, I am still apprehensive. A few years back I joined a Jeep Club back east when I had my YJ. It only took one outing to change my mind; I was treated rather badly and that has stayed with me enough to cause me to be hesitant; still ... you have a good idea.

On the other end of the spectrum, my vehicle is still pretty stock and I don't know just how often I could get out; my work schedule varies a lot. But don't completely write me off and by the way, there are literally hundreds of KJ's in the Portland area. Although most of them are just street, or "soccer mom" vehicles. Although I ran across a guy a while back who had his rig up in the Mt Hood National Forest; can't remember where I saw that though.

Well, good luck and I will continue to consider; efinately would like to see your installed lift, though.

darrel

I am glad you are at least thinking of it...I really hope you decide to come on board. We will operate LOST in Oregon in a manner in which you will enjoy, I promise. Nobody is going to be allowed to ruin anyone elses fun or good times. Many people run stock KJ's and there will be plenty of fun to be had without the need to lift etc...unless you decide you want to.

I am trying to plan a meet and greet as well as a run up in your area soon, you could meet all of us and check out my KJ's lift. If that doesn't work out for you, we could definately make other plans as well. I hope to get enough going on that everyone will get a chance to play, no matter what the schedule.

Got rid of the extra posts. Yeah, that happens when the site is slow and you hit submit more than once. (Heather has been notified)

Glad to see you guys might have a run!

NOTICE: It has been decided that rather than start an Oregon group, we will operate under L.O.S.T. KJ's Pacific North West. All further discussion will take place there. Come on over and take a peek.
