Well, Tom (Renstock) and I went out to Bulldog Canyon today. I gotta say that this was a bit more fun than I thought it was going to be 8) Got hung up on a rock at one point - I had gone over it and it wound up getting wedged against my muffler, so I backed up and we were able to get it off the trail (didn't take a pic  ). Here are a couple of pics from the day, I'll have more later this week when I get the film in my 35mm developed and scanned onto CD.

Sorry for the quality on this one - I had my digital set to 'close-up' and forgot to change it back

Tom, thanks for going along. It was a fun day!

Yeah, it wasn' too hot, but it was humid out there. Had some clouds over us a lot of the time, and a few light sprinkles. Glad the rain stayed away, cuz I would NOT want to be in there if it was raining anywhere near that area

EDIT- here is a pic Tom sent:
Image

looks like we got off teh trail just in time; around 5:30 storms started moving thru the area and in some areas the NWS was saying up to 1-1.5 inches/hr

Here ya go:
Tom on the trail

Most of the trail is just one long rock garden. Not too big but they just keep
going and going and going...

the clouds made for some interesting lighting effects

I know I want to run this one again, maybe after it cools off a bit - like say November
