:?: New Sport 65thanv KJ owner, I have the stock in dash 6 disc player and 6 speakers... I don't mind the head unit, kind of want to keep it stock looking and just sound better. How is the Mopar sub? I have also looked at the Infinity Basslink, as it also has a built in 200w amp. Does anyone know what the outputs are on the stock player? Were is the best places to put an amp? Can you mount anything in the rear door? I just want better, clearer, sound not extreme sound, or volume. Any suggestions would be great.

Ive heard the mopar sub adds some nice bass. You wont be winning any sound competitions, but Im sure it would get you by. Idk if the 6 cd changer has any outputs or not. My stock cd had none. Under the back seats is a great place to put an amp. The mopar sub goes under the drivers seat.

When you mount an amp under the back seat you wont be able to put the seat all the way down if you have a decent size amp. My amp is about 12"x8"x2.5" and i figured this out after i had it all installed! I was ticked and spent another houurpullingit back out. I had to unbolt the seat too since it would not just slide under.

I have a set of subs that I need to get rid of. 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P1 subs in a Rockford ported box. Bought it new for $350, looking to get around $250 for it. Go here for pictures of my subs and the deck I used in my KJ. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/712372/6[/url]

if you want to replace the head unit, and are planning on getting a navi system... I believe it's either Pioneer or Alpine that makes a great head unit. It has navi, plays DVD, has a flip out lcd screen, and has excellent pre-out/internal amp. It's a pretty penny, but really your getting three to four features in one right??

What is the stock head unit output? I have the single cd player head unit. What can the stock speakers handle?
