Interesting, what happened to the "tube type" style you mentioned? This looks good too.
Maybe a little more on the sides to match up with the fenders would be nice.

I think he is just showing us the base/bumper cover...the tubes will come off of this piece.

Thats the base for the tubes to be mounted on if I'm not mistaken.....your fogs will be able to mount to the tubes on top of the middle part....hopefully to some prefabbed tabs.

Image

The base is formed a little differently in this one....but its the same thing basically....right in the middle would be a spot for a winch mount, and on top in the middle are the tabs for fog mounting.

If I'm wrong let me know.....just my interpretation and .02 cents.

Why couldn't you not weld that tube bumper to a front hitch mount:

Then weld that to the bumper mounts that KJhawaii made:

Actually for those interested, the main air bag control unit is located on the tranny tunnel under the gear shifter. It receives signals from various sensors; 2 in the front on the vertical sections of the rad support, and if you have side air bags, there are alternate sensors on the B and C pillars. The inertia ball is actually located inside the main control unit and not at each of the sensors. Once a signal is received at the sensors, the control unit analyses whether the negative acceleration or lateral acceleration was sufficient enought to set the air bags off.

So to sum it up, it's irrelevant what bumber you put on. The air bag system will work the same regardless. The only difference I can see is that a heavier more sturdy bumber will damage the other vehicule more.

sorry guys. been overloaded with work this last week.

looks like i will be releasing two diferant front bumpers. one will be similar to the latest pics posted. the diferance will be greater depth which will be for mounting lights and perhaps a winch. cleavis mounts will be standard and a 2" hitch will be an option.

the second well...

you'll have to wait for the photos.
