Ok, i have searched awhile on here, several times and i cant seem to find the answer to my questions.

I have a RRO 2 inch lift, the good one NOT the OTT kit. I am looking to upgrade to an OME setup and currently i have right at 2 inches of lift w/ the RRO lift. I want to stay at that height but with OME.

So my question is with front OME HD coils and OME struts and Rear OME HD coils will that still provide for 2 inches of lift? I am worried that it will be less and i really dont want to mess with spacers.

Thanks for you help.

You will get 2" of lift with the rear HD ome coils, but Im not to sure about the front. People have told me that they get 2.5in of lift on the front, but I only got 1.5in with the OME medium coils(not to sure how they got 2.5in when the franken lift is a 2.5in lift with ome coils and a spacer?). You can do a clevis lift if you align the coils just right so the upper ball joints will go between the coils and not hit the coils. I have 1 conduit nut under the clevis and thats all I can get since my coils are not aligned just right. My cv's are angled ever to slightly downward. :) Perfect I think.

Yeah so are mine and thats how i want it. Mutt sorry bout that i have the 2.1" combo kit. Reference here the easy way as "the good one"! :)

I may to make some calls. Do you think that the HD coild Jeepjeepster woud give that extra .5"? I guess i would not care if its 1.5" up front as long as it clears my 245/75 revos!

Oh, and i think you have an 04, i have an 02 so i am higher from that also...

RRO has always offered OME coils as an option for one of their kits....

Nick,
you could just add the small RRO strut plate spacer you already have, to the H.D. front OME coils, and that would likely work out to about the height you have now to clear the tires.
I really don't think the front OME H.D. coils alone will keep you at your current height, since you have an 02 which has the longer coils.

Think about it!

Thats true. When you take the coils out and use the ome coils, it doesnt matter that your old springs were .75in higher. What struts are you wanting to use?

Jeepster,
when he removes his old springs and 2.125" RRO Combo lift, it will matter greatly.

2 1/8" + 3/4" = 2 7/8" of lift verses the 1 1/2" OME.
How are you supposed to clear 245/75/16's with a 1 1/2" lift in the front???

Even if you take sagging of a half inch in to consideration for the age of his current coils, he still has aprox. 2 3/8" of lift in the front.

KJ04, i was thinking of using that strut plate. As for struts, i was thinking of OME struts or the ranchos.

I suppose the strut plate w/ a cleavis lift i can be right at the 2" mark

On the other hand, do you think that w/ out the strut plate and w/ a .75" spacer it would be close? I am not sure what those .75 spacers net you???

Thanks for the input guys.

Using a .75 spacer would net you the same lift as the franken lift. Ive been told its about the same spacer.

If you use a upper strut plate and a clevis lift, you will get upper ball joint contact. :?

By the time you fool around with the spacers and a clevis, you will end up with pretty much what you have now, A Spacer Lift. So, why even bother changing anything?

Rusty's lift springs might be closer to what you're looking for in height for a true coil lift that will clear the 245/75/16's.

Rancho struts cost less than OME struts, if you need them.
