I went camping this weekend and didn't realize the drain plug on my cooler was missing. So, all the water drained out into the carpet in the cargo area and soaked the matting.

Is there a way to get the tie-down pieces out so I can pull out the carpet? I've tried every bit I have and they're all either too big or too small, which leads me to think they're riveted in. Any help you can offer will be much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your wet carpet. Let me know when you get your cell working.

Have you tried to use a shop vac on the carpet, it would suck must of the water out.

Thanks for your help. By the time I got back home, it had dried enough to where it was only damp and the shop-vac didn't do much. I ended up drilling out the rivets and laying it on the patio to dry (it was already starting to smell).
