My g-friend owns a Jeep Wrangler. I've told her that Wrangler owners will usually wave at fellow Jeep Wrangler drivers/owners while you drive pass them. She didn't believe me any ways. It finally happens, well she finally noticed that about 95% of Wranglers she drove by would wave and she then started waving back. She now feels that she is in a "Jeep Wrangler wave club" of her own. She was driving my Liberty and she waved at a Wrangler, she was thinking she was in her Wrangler. She said the guy in the Wrangler did wave back, for who know what reason. Anyways now as I drive pass fellow Liberty drivers I have found myself waving at them and most have waived back. Anyone ever notice this Jeep (Wrangler) wave? :D

Lol, yea, I get waves from wranglers depending on which wheels I have on at the time. If I have the 17in chromes I wont get to many, with the black cragers I get a couple.

I don't know about your areas but it seems like the lifted trail ready looking wranglers are more likely to wave back. I had a bad experiance waving at another Libby so I haven't waved at a libby since but I still wave at the Wranglers.

I find when I wave to fellow KJ owners, 25% of the time I get a wave back, the other 75% they either ignore me totally or look at me like I'm a crazy , it's not like I'm driving a Compass . Wrangler drivers on the other hand, wave back almost every time.

Not sure what everyone else expirences but this is my observation.

Oh dog_party; loved the line, "When in doubt, WHIP IT OUT!", words to live by :)

Unfortunately, Jeeps are a dime a bakers dozen...and then some. I rarely get waves and when I am next to a Wrangler while passing another Wrangler, I don't see them waving. Jeeps are just too common around here.

most the wranglers around my town wave back, prolly cause they've seen me off road or pulled me out. I love that wave website especially the one that says "Any rescue in the Jeep's past that required the use of BOATS"

No I saw a KJ with 2 guys leaving the mall on the way to a buddys house and I saw them looking at my KJ I did the polite thing and waved. Well Upon waving I look over and see both of them smiling and waving... but I don't think it was a "jeep wave." I think, based on the body language and hand flapping in gale force winds kinda wave, it wasn't a nice jeep wave it was a your cute kinda wave. I haven't waved at a KJ since.

ARGH! That sucks! The heavily modded Wranglers (Rubicons especially) seem to be the most likely to wave in my area.

Haha...I find myself wanting to wave to fellow liberty owners every time I see them. But sometimes when you look over it's an older lady talking on her cell phone, basically someone who wouldn't give lostkjs.com any time of the day :? . kinda saddens me but I do look out for other jeeps :P . I just have to agree w/ all the rest...there are tons of libertys in our area, not to mention millions of jeeps in general!!!

Yep. When your out actually wheeling, its best to just wave at everyone. Its pretty cool. Most of the time when I'm out with either the Jeep or the quads, we find all the people with H2s who use them for their intended purpose and they are usually the first to wave.

The very first minute that I got into the LJ I started getting waves. I never got a single one in the KJ unless it was a lost person but their are none around me. Only mall crawlers.

Same experience here with Liberty owners. I've only gotten two waves from Liberty owners and that was right after I had gone mudding.

I only wave at the hotties (there are LOTS of 'em in Libbys); if I'm feeling cocky I'll smile or say, "Nice Jeep." As for guys, I give a "How ya doin" nod and grin -- a nod of the head, not an actual wave -- when I see him checking out my KJ. A lot of people look at my tires like I'm driving Bigfoot or something. Hahaha. Everyone's so used to the all-season radial death donuts.

Oh, and don't even bother with the grannies. They're clueless.
