2 Things...

Looks Like snow in higher elevations on Sunday again....

Marty, call me tomorrow if you want to bypass that switch like we talked about earlier this week. That and Mongolian Grill sounds good for lunch...

Give me a call. I'll be busy and probably forget to call until too late. I haven't had time to track down a switch, but bring your meter so we can try to find the right wires on the NSS first.

Well I'm in. Anyone else from the Denver area?

@spoonyG are you still going? If so do you want to meet at the Safeway/Starbucks on 285 in Conifer?..say at 7:45-8am?

If noone from the Denver metro area is going then I'll just meet you guys at the trailhead. There is supposed to be a Gas Station at the turnoff from 285 and CR 301. I could meet you all there.

What time do we want to be at the trailhead? 10am as usual?

John

Unless there are any complications at home or with work, Cassidy and I will meet the CS guys at the McDonalds. Sorry I haven't had much input this time around but things are a little hectic here right now.

Well as this is probably the last time I will be online today I am going to meet you guys from CS at a gas station at HWY 285 and CR 301 turnoff as described as being near the trail head in the excerpt from Traildamage.com below.

Quote:
Take Highway 285 to Johnson Village. There are gas stations there where you can fill up if you need to. In between the rafting building and the gas stations you'll see CR301 to your left

If anyone needs to get a hold of me I will be on CB CH 12 and FRS/GMRS 12/12. I will have my cell with me as well (386-473-3280).

See you all tomorrow.

John

Joel, Call John. He posted around 10 AM. I do not know how long it will take us to get from Woodland Park to there... Map qwest says about an hour and a half, so I would expect us to get there around 930 or so. Sorry I have been busy as well...

So for Southern gang, MC D's at woodland park between 7 and 730 am.

Cool. Ted and I hotwired a button to the starter, but the battery was bad, or bacame bad during our troubleshooting  to I took it back to WalMart tonight and got my free replacement, put the battery in, and the push button start fired it right up. So, now I get to have fun swapping the trackbar from the ZJ to my junk. I might get to bed by 0100.

I would say between 0930 and 1000 is a safe bet.

What are you worried about? You have lockers, gears and tires with tread. I have stock gears, no lockers, and the biggest racing slicks you ever seen. I'll follow you, tow strap ready.

Oh, and I just got my trackbar installed, so time for a test drive, then I might actually be ready to wheel tomorrow. See you guys at McD's around 0830...

Just kidding.

True dat. Funny stuff. It's not the traction I'm worried about though. Its the sheet metal crushing rocks...

Well all 5 of us made it. It was cold and rainy...which made it a bit more difficult on all of us. It was pretty tough going but we made it through with, for the most part, only minor cosmetic damage...I'll have to take some pics of that tomorrow

We even have a small video

Anyway...more to come...too tired now and must take long hot shower.
