The Cummins engines in the Dodge trucks have silencer rings on the turbo and baffles in the intake tubes to quiet them down. Those guys are removing the silencer rings and intake baffles to make their engines sound better and breathe better.

Does anybody know if these CRDs have silencer rings or any kind of noise-cancelling restrictive pieces added to them that we could remove easily?? I haven't had much chance to look yet.

Jeez Guys,
We're already getting almost 1 hp per cu in. How much more do you think's in there. And how spendy and reliable is it going to be to get it? How are the stock Cummins, etc. guys doing box stock? Just put a nitrous or propane flood on it and enjoy. LOL.

Just had all in air lines apart to clean out all the oil from the CCV. Found nothing to get more air/noise. I did put in a K&N air filter, I think the turbo makes a little more noise but hard to tell.

No real difference with a Flowmaster series 40, maybe a little squeak at start.

Yeah there'll be some aftermarket stuff popping up soon. And then it'll be awesome.
