Just looking at the article for the recall of 800,000 GM trucks on MSNBC when they mentioned a possible recall on 200,000 02 Libertys for the seatbelt not latching...

now that's funny, just the other day on the way to work. i tried to latch my seat belt and it took me 10 or 12 times, then i finally got it to go?? oh yea , i have an 02

How about a recall because the latch engages at the worst possible moments? When you try to lean forward to see what's coming up next, and the darn belt latches so you're pinned to your seat. Or, what you <b>want</b> to be pinned to your seat but the belt doesn't latch?

FWIW, I've never had a problem with my seatbelt latch.
