Just checked the Jeep website and it now lists the 2007 Liberty and the 2007 GC. The Liberty does not list the Diesel Option for 2007, not surprising. But what was surprising is that it does not list the Renegade, only the Sport and the Limited. They also do not list the Diesel option for the GC yet but the local dealer told me that it will be a mid model year option.

If I remeber correctly, they did the same thing last year with the Renny and didnt add it till a little later since they changed it a little. Perhaps the same thing is happening this year.

I was checking that out on saturday, it also looks like it is incomplete, the option list seems shorter on the liberties also. It is probably mostly a teaser, are the 07 at the dealers yet?

The diesel GC will be out the end of the month or early next month.

You can get the 3.73, if you want to buy a limited that is. I guess 3.73's only work with body colored flares and leather seats

Seems they have added the "Latitude Edition" when you go to Equip and Price on their website. Hmm..

Latitude Edition? Interesting. It's like halfway between Sport and Limited (shrug).

I also see that they finally added the "build and price" on the 4-door Wrangler!! I have my built 4-door Rubicon printed out. Now I just need the diesel option baby!

That sucks!! :x What do leather seats and fender flare color have to do with the gear ratio?

Absolutely nothing. And is it just me or do they get more expensive every year?

I suppose that they had to wait for the ULSD fuel to be available at the pumps which is supposed to be October 15. I will have to drive one when they come out.

Seams to me that the Latitude model is a lot like the 65th anniversary edition except that you have to pay for the sunroof, I like that I got mine free! 8) Oh and its more money...

There isn't a limited slip available in 2007?

That is only the 6-speed gear ratio. Jeep's website doesn't update to the correct gear ratio based on what transmission/engine you select. It automatically assume you are using the base transmission/engine regardless if select otherwise.

For example, if you select a Sport the base transmission is the 6-speed, therefore it displays 3.55 gears. If you add the optional automatic it still displays the same gear ratio. It does not update the gear ratio to correctly reflect the transmission/engine combo.

The Limited is only available with the automatic. That is why it displays the correct 3.73 gear ratio.

This issues goes back quite a while. For a while people though that all sports came with 4.10 gears. The 4.10 gears are only on the 4cylinder KJs. Same problem as above. The site was not correctly updating the gear ratio based on the engine/transmission combination. Someone a while back even e-mailed Jeep to confirm this error.
