Found this on another board. Don't know if they have been posted yet, but these are the newest and most revealing that I have seen.

From the side it almost looks like a ZJ. I'm not sure I like that front end much either.

I like the wheels. :) The rest is far too much like the Commander for me. It's too bad they took the spare off the rear door. That sure is handy having it there. That rear overhang looks like it could be a problem...

I'll look it over when it shows up at the dealer, but right now I'm thinking I won't be interested in replacing my KJ with one of those when the time comes.

I wonder if having a hidden spare means the spare would be mounted on a (cheaper) steel rim?

I think it's miserable looking, especially that Volkswagen Beetle antenna... yuck.

Stupid spare tire thing.....stupid headlights....those wheel wells are tiny to....how are you going to fit an MT tire into that even with a lift??

DC screwed up huge I think....no doubt they'll sell.....but with this they really are just perpetuating the myth of the Liberty being a soccer mom grocery getter.....really sad and depressing.

No more manual tranny, that thing sucks as far as I am concerned. The 4 door wrangler totally looks better than that thing.

Those wheels look out of place. Looks like its harder to see out of, too.

My next Jeep will be a 4 door Wrangler Rubicon Turbo Diesel, when DC gets around to making one.

I don't know... I saw a 4-door in real life the other day, I think it's UGLY. It's porportions are just off... and I hate those stupid round corner lights on the fenders... yuck. I'd buy a Commander before I bought one of those new Wranglers.

you said it Zeero!..wtf is DC thinking. i'm sorry but the KJ w/out rear mounted spare tire??..ugly headlights!. just buy a commander or patriot then. they could of kept the current style KJ and continued on w/losts of new design. no respect for the 01-07 KJ...depressing!! buy your KJ while you still can. 8)

It is too bad the liberty isn't keeping it's current unique look...why copy the Commander. I too would have to go for the 4 door Wrangler Rubicon over this new Liberty.

Well i have to say that i like the look. Even though the spare it tucked up in the rear, a easy relocation to the roof would end up with more ground clearance in the rear. Just one thing though that back bumper has got to go.
My finale opinion will have to wait untill i can see and drive one in person.

First the Commander lights need to go. Second I want to know what they did to improve the Ball Joints.

Has anyone noticed that even the pictures of the 07 Liberty on the Jeep website have the backdrop set as a driveway rather than some sort of forest or something. WTF, I thought Jeeps were supposed to be off road vehicles. In fact, the KJ and WK are the only two vehicles the Jeep website doesn't show off road. Now everyone says they're going to buy a JK instead of the KK, maybe that's Jeep's plan....

Yeppers thats the next one. It was at the windtunnel a few weeks back. Although I hadn't heard that they were dropping the external spare. I will have to ask around.

personally, it looks like they are going after the cherokee crowd that they left with the liberty.

Although it does look similar to the patriot, the patriot is going to be 4wheel independent suspension.
