Check the yoke on the Front (non diff) side of the Driveline. It's probably in need of some love. Mine does it all the time... greased it up. Stops.

I've got the noise in my 05 Renegade and it's the right rear control arm bushing. You might be able to drive it for some time like that. The mount for mine is really beat up (this has been off-road a lot), so it undoubtedly got twisted a little too much. In looking at the factory setup, they're really meant for straight back flex, not sideways. I'll be replacing both with adjustable control arms that have some lateral movement, hoping to avoid a repeat.

Keep us posted my mounts look like crushed beer cans although the control arm points in a general rearwards direction.
Was thinking about welding two new suport brackets onto the chassis with some protection around them. Rock rails and normal underbody armour don't protect your support points for rear control arm... Look underneath and sweat everytime you crawl over a big rockledge. I would post a few pics of the damage but I don't want anyone to have nightmares even if it is near Haloween.

greased it tonight, no clunks yet, I'll keep you posted....

by the way what does everyone use to replace the clamp on the boot over the slip yoke? It has a CV boot type clamp on it now. I used a hose clamp for the time being.
