We have just purchased a 2006 liberty and I want to lift it but Im not sure what lifts to consider or to stay away from. I have had 6 jeeps in total all of which were wranglers and all were lifted and performed great but I have heard bad things about lifting the liberty. This liberty is a daily driver and I dont want to mess it up it will be used off road mainly at badlands and rockport off road parks so a good lift is a must. if you could help me out in any way it would be great. By the way where are some good places to find aftermarket bumbers and such for th KJ.
thanks.

I have rusty's lift and its great for the money. After settling the front drops down a little bit about half a quarter inch or so but a clevis lift or rustys spacers up front will solve the problem. arb makes a bumper for the kj.

I absolutley love my Rusty's lift. I cant justify paying all that extra for the "other" lifts! ARB and rocklizardfabrications.com and TJM from AUS all make bumpers for the KJ. Rock Lizard is the only one with a rear bumper out right now.

Bumpers (& kick stupid rock rails) -> Rock Lizard Fabrications

Lift -> both the Frankenlift and the Rusty's have a following. You will pay an extra $350 for the Frankenlift, but no spring compressor is needed. This comes down to how much you are willing to pay, and what value you think your getting. I got a lightly used Frankenlift only because it was the price of a Rusty's. I had already made up my mind to put the other $350 into 32" tires... (& Al's A-arms, and a diff. collar, and, ...oh wait, that's much more than $350  )

Awsome site. Was going to buy a lift, but thats on hold intill I can afford to replace my stolen $1000 camera :x

Make sure you post when you plan to lift, I'd like to get some experience before I do mine.
