I'm pretty sure (almost positive) it can. I believe all you need to buy is the Mopar Satellite Radio kit. My 2002 is compatible with it, so your 06 should be. I would highly recommend it. I actually have Octane (hard rock) streaming on my computer right now.

What's the display like on the 06's RBK? I mounted a Sirius Sportster in my 05 because the stereo display (RBQ unit?) doesn't have a good display.

If you're using an FM modulator, your radio will need to have RDS functionality in order to display song information. Unfortunately the RBK doesn't support RDS nor does it support the factory Sirius artist/song capability. The RB1, RB4, and RBQ all support RDS and thus song info via an FM modulator. The RB1 is the only on that supports the factory Sirius artist/song capability. There's a break down of the features on this page: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Jeep_Liberty/Electrical/Head_Units

You just answered a question I had, thanks for the wiki link. I think it Sucks that the particular model radio won't play the artist/band for sirius (RBQ) but will for boring old FM.
