ok just got my new wheels (16x8, 5 on 4.5", 5" backspacing) and tires (Firestone Destinaton M/T 245 75 R16) put on yesterday at a Firestone Auto care place.
here's what they told me the problems are with it:
"customer has installed 6" lift kit, car has a wander, alignment was done under factory spec. Advised customer
tires do rub onto sway bar and inner fenderwell"
ok now not sure why they would say i've got a 6" lift...but anyway i thought that was funny. ok so how big of a problem
is this and how do i fix it? will i run into problems if i keep driving it like this?
i know i can trim the federwell to prevent some of the rubbing right?...but the swaybar?..how do i fix that? :
now the alignment issue...after driving it yesterday..yes it does wander and my steeringwheel when the tires straight..veers to the right.
i can post the before and after specs if that will help? how do i fix this?
sorry for all the questions..i'm just aggrivated but i guess ya gotta work the kinks out after a lift and new tires.
thanks in advance everyone
