Hi everyone

I'm a new proud owner of '03 Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition.

I must say I love the truck

I purchased an OTIS for the JEEP and read the install website that is so popular.

I have a couple of questions and I appreciate anyone's help>

I don't want to mess around with the electric wiring so let's see if I got it straight.

I'm to remove the junction box and the BCM and splice 3 wires into the connecting wires that connect to the BCM.

Then I'm to find an ignition hot wire. Of hand, does anyone know of a wire that's there that is hot with ignition only?
I don't have a tester so I don't want to be splicing wires. I tried to read the service manual but it's way too complex to find one wire.

In other words, does anyone know the color and location of the wire I need to splice into?

thanks everyone. I have been reading through all the posts and I have learned a great deal. 8)

you can use the black/orange wire in your vehicles ignition harness.

that would be your 12v accessory wire so it'll only have power when the vehicle is turned on.

That's great. Thanks

Here's comes another newbie question.

Where is the wire harness located?

Does it come to the junction box

Sorry about the simple questions but I really don't want to mess up the jeep.

thanks again
