Has anyone experienced leaking from their power steering rack? I have a 2002 with 21,000 miles and a Frankenlift on it and found oil on the driver side tie rod boot. Upon checking the power steering reservoir, I found it low. Could the lift be causing undue stress on this component? Since lifting my Liberty, little things like this keep coming up.

Check the high pressure line too. That blew on mine and some of the others have had the same thing happen.

My unit had to be replaced. It was still under warrenty. I doubt it is because of the lift. My power steering started making noises like it was low on fluid, it was. Dealer said it was the unit, not any hoses. I had a 2002, not anymore. Don't remember the miles it had when it failed.
