I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty that came with the RBQ and Sirius. I purchased an RB1 and installed it and it works great, but it does not show the artist and song info for Sirius. I do not have a cd changer in the back, sirius only. I bought the artist cable, but it is an 8 to 10 pin cable. The hook ups by the Sirius reciever are a 12 pin. Do I need to buy a different 12 to 10 pin cable to get the artist and song info? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

According to wjjeeps.com, you need to install a multiplex splitter in order to use the artist/song cable, even if you don't install a CD changer. The artist/song info is broadcast by the Sirius receiver over the PCI bus. It looks like the multiplex splitter incoporates the functionality to convert this PCI bus data into a format the radio understands.
