Welcome Back Joe.

Here is one myth that needs to be busted. When people say that the first year is the hardest , they are LYING. If they told you it was the easiest no one would last past year one. So with that in mind I suggest a long engagement, and living together for a while before you get hitched, say for about 8 years or so.

she's the best girl in the entire world, beautiful, smart, the whole package...like I said I don't think I will pop the question for years (i think 27-30 would probably be a better age for me).

I still want a Jeep more then a full size...If I could find a KJ cheap enough I geuss I would be open to it but it would most likely blow my whole budget... So what I want is either a ZJ with a 4 inch lift or a XJ with a 4 inch lift. I want 33's and a rear locker. I think Rubicon Express 4 inch superflex is probably the route I'd go with the ZJ (you can upgrade it to long arm later)...

Does anybody have a MIG welder near the twin cities to help with the lift kit? I will gladly pay for beer and pizza...

Interesting what you find when you google your own name.

I don't fish anymore though.

--Also, the description of Dutch Harbor sounding like heaven... I wish you luck with that.

You missed a stat:

Population that drives drunk: 4299

it was far from heaven

the elbow room (now lattitudes) was an absolute blast.

I'll see if I can find the picture of the small (only 85 pounds) halibut I caught on a charter up there...

BTW the population that drives drunk is much lower then 4299-there just weren't many cars up there. All vehicles (2wd and 4wd) had mud terrains. Lot of samurais and only one Jeep Liberty (looked lonely). There were a few TJ's, a couple of Internationals. Lots of interesting rigs for sure!

no deadliest catch for me

it took a 3500 mile move to the middle of the bering sea but now I see that minnesota is my home and always will be...

I miss the Jeep thing and will return ASAP (anybody want to buy a mint Taurus SHO V8?)

You guys won't hate me if I pick up a Rubicon right? Although a used CRD might do the trick...
