RikMil, what is that spacer style thing you've got attached to your driveshaft, then Cardinal joint ? It loos like some sort of trumpet adapter thingy ? lol!! I wrapped that rascal for safe wheeling.
Did the Driveshaft company do that ? No one ever saw my vehicle tell it was done.
I'm about to find out this week how they will adapt mine. I want them to put it as close to the T'case output shaft as possible and lengthen the driveshaft.
The trumpet was on there stock i just cut half off. Mine is as close as you are probably doing to get it to the t-case. Unless they want to cut completly new splines I opted not to just widen the splines. The yoke is off an old full sized bronco of the last few years they were made I believe. I let the yoke bottom out on the unsplined part then cut the rest off and drilled and taped a hole to bolt it on. Its heat treated so you can't just cut and drill, you have to anneal it first. They will probably know what to do. Hopefully.
Good luck! I hope you find a place that wants to help you the first go around. Then you won't have to take it to a few places like I did. I basicly had to find a way my self and beg them to do it. Every one said they cant do it. I had to freek out and make them. I have a whole new out look on life now. No one wants to work out side of the box these days. If it doesnt fit the guide lines of something they do a few times a week It must not be a job they can handle. Thats sad, every one acts like they are assembly line workers with limited capabilities. Are you doing a solid front end?
