Well here is a suggestion.....if you plan on lifting your KJ soon and heck later on would like to get an aftermarket front bumoer, just go ahead and relocate your washer reservoir to behind the airbox..a few guys have done that around here and from what I could gather it isn't that strenuous of a job. The hoses are plenty long enough and all you need is a radiator overflow container from an autozone, advanced auto, or o'reilly auto type store. I want to say there is a right up on it around here somewhere...if i find it i'll post the link in here...

I'm down for that idea....just have a couple questions:

I'm looking up the parts for the new resevoir..but I'm only getting listings for the Pump. Is the pump and resevoir all the same thing?? I got a good look at it last night and I know whats broken...I guess I've seen the pump and its connected to the tank but is it all sold as one unit?

I'd definitly be interested in relocating the tank...just have to figure out whats parts I need. anyone know any good sites for the OEM parts for liberties? Anyone had to purchase a new resevoir before?

Ques1: The pump/motor for the washer fluid reservoir and the actual reservoir are 2 seperate parts.

Ques2: E-mail jparts.com and they should be able to hook you up with the parts you need to replace all of that and quote you a total price for all the hardware needed...plus the price they give you will be cheaper then what your local dealer could offer...

Hope this helps...

I had the rad got at 100k and same spot that everyone is talking about. My liberty is an 02 and got it replaced with an aluminum rad. I wouldn't recomend replacing it with another stocker, the plastic on the rad with the cold and heat all the time will eventually crack just like mine did. Trying to find a rad can be fun because the prices on an aftermarket rad for a liberty are painful. I looked around and found a new one for $260.00/cad and I know my mechanic well and did the install for a $100/cad. But it is all good now. If anyone else gets this problem look on the plastic on the rad for a line in it don't go and work on the power stearing lines or cooler. That is what I did myself and then went to the mechanic and be like what the hell is going on. He found the rad crack. Happy fixings
