Does anyone want to do anything special for lunch.

I'll bring some chips and snacks.

Someone want to bring a potable grill?

Someone else some hot dog or something to cook on the grill

And someone else bring some drinks?

Ill bring some drinks. Probably just bottled water. It may not be enough for everyone but Ill fill my little cooler up.. Its not a full sized one though..

Cheese burgers or hotdogs is fine with me on the food. 8)

A rainy day and leafless forest. I miss that scenery in Ohio. Of course, KY is just like Ohio....especially SE Ohio.

Looked like fun guys.

Great shots!! I had a great time minus the brilliant "anti-theft" moment.

Here is my cave pic...

Man that was just a great run. From meeting Bobby Dodger, the hunters telling us we need a 6" lift, watching out for the game warden that "just lies in hiding in the woods", getting a ride on the back of the truck, to dinner at Sonny's. Awesome ride. Weather could have been nicer, but at least it wasn't muddy due to the sandy soil.

IL plates are mine. Haven't been in IL for quite a while, I just hold on to registration there because it is easier then getting the title transferred and the hassle that goes along with that. I'll let Jeff explain what happen in that photo.

I got out of the jeep to look at the trail. Somehow... my door got locked with the key in the jeep and the engine running. I must have hit the lock as I got out or there was some discussion the KJ has an anti-theft setting that will autolock the truck if left running for several minutes. Either way I was in a pickle. We tried all the other jeep keys with the off chance one might work. No go. We began looking at options. We then thought about removing the back window hinges. As a few began working on that, Ricky Bobby (AKA "the cowboy", Dodger) pulled a small, flexiable, grab it tool from his truck. We were able to use small wooded shims to open the door wide enough to get it inside to open the door. This took about 30 mins and I was saved. Honestly, I must have some major angels on my side or banked karma to get off that easy. Next option was to say good-bye to a window.

Lesson learned and I have already scouted a few spots on the frame I can hide a spare key. I am going to order at least one spare key and put it under the jeep so I will never have to go though that again. I have seen small magnet boxes that can hold a key and will put it inside one of the holes under the KJ. I left my window open the rest of the day  I am just happy I can laugh about it now. At the time, I was
