I couldn't disagree more! I am the kind of person who researches things to death before I buy. When I was buying my CRD I test drove and test drove vehicles to make sure I liked what I was getting. I told the dealers I went to up front that I was looking at a Jeep Liberty CRD, mind you I just didn't test drive Jeeps, and every single one of them was willing to let me drive anything I wanted. If they hadn't I would definitely never go back to that dealer. In fact if they asked me to fill out a credit app. first I would have walked out. My finances are none of their business, I wouldn't be looking at a car if couldn't afford it. It is all about customer service in my book! In fact I would rather pay a little bit more for something to have great customer service! Just my 2 cents.

I can tell that you do not own a busness and most likley never will. I fell a law should be passed that no one can purchase and thing until they have had to wait and serve the public for one year. Until you have waited on the public for a living you will never understand....

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I'm agreeing with RFCRD. If I'm coughing up that large of a sum of money, I better be absolutely positive that I will be happy with the purchase and enjoy the product you recieve. Nothing good ever comes out of hasty buys.

It's a dog eat dog world out there and he who can make the customer most happiest eats the other dog and not get eaten.

Again, lying = bad customer service = word of mouth of said lies & bad customer service = lost customers = dog has been eaten.

I am not saying the customer is always right (most of the time, they aren't), but you must learn how to work with the customer or hang the "Going Out of Business" sign up in the door.

Discriminated By A Dealership? (Kinda Long)
OK, so I went with my mother to a local dealer in order to test drive a Chrysler Aspen. No intention of buying one today, but in the next year or sooner they are planning on getting another vehicle. We made this clear and then refused to fill out a questionairre becuase the dealership has harassed us previously with sales calls shrouded as service calls

THIS IS NOT WHAT HE WROTE THE FIRST TIME it has changed several times . Now the opinions are not even for this Post.

Nope. It is not what I wrote the first time. I decided I had overreacted and removed the dealer name. Other than that, I clarified what happened. Now, the thread has led to a few new (and still quite relevant) opinions and I dont quite see what is wrong with that. This isnt the court of law here.
