I've got a 2006 Renegade with the light bar. I've decided that I want to get rid of the light bar, but I have some questions. When I put the ARB bumper on my Jeep, I want to put the smaller fog lights in it (which I guess are factory Liberty fogs?) and use the factory fog light switch. I also want to put two off-road lights on the ARB (similar to how the factory Renegade fogs are positioned) and would like to know if it would be possible to use the light bar switch that's in the dash for those lights. I was just thinking it would save some wiring and would look nice and clean inside the cabin.

I don't know how the light bar is wired, and I'm not exactly an electrician... so let me know if this would work and what would be the best way to go about getting it done. Thanks!

Wont there be several holes left in your roof once you remove the lightbar. Why do you want to get rid of it, most people like the look of the lightbar

Yeah, there will be holes left... but I'll have them filled and get the roof painted. I just don't care for the way the light bar looks... not sure why.
