Has anyone painted their stock steel wheels black? If so, what did you use?

I would suggest sending them to a powder coater to have them sand blasted, painted and baked.

Just FYI, All the scratches, dents, missing chucks and paint...they are all photochopped. My little red Sammy the Red Rocker has never really even beeen on a dirt road before.

Ask anyone that has been on a trail ride with me...I really just ride along and leave my KJ in the campgrounds.

It's all just a nice paved road...Right Steve? For dang sure man. Later...Clint

I painted some steel wheels a few years ago yellow. I took a scotch brite pad and took the shine off (Helps the paint stick better) then painted them with Krylon yellow the .98 cent a can stuff from Wal-Mart. I did that back in '98 i have two of them still lying around and they still looks great.
