Joel and Ted have things going on until later in the afternoon, so around 5 or 6?

That may be doable...Need to see what Kristin has in mind...but that makes me attending a possibility.

I vote for a potluck at someone's house or something similar to that. Whereever it is, I'll be in attendance and Jen and Cassidy should also be there unless something unexpectedly comes up.

Well it does not matter to me where we have this, but if everyone agree's I think Marty's place would be good like he say's it would be better for viewing Pete's show.If we are doing a potluck type thing I can bring chips and drinks(if you have a preferance just say and I'll get it) and 6:30'ish is okay with me.

I have become a fan of marinated skirt steak lately. I can bring some of that. I can bring all of the paper plates and utensils, my wife's company sells them, so I can get them cheap.

Marty, if it is at your house, I can come down early and help you set up.

Hey guys....I am going to try and make it to this. I know I have a party this weekend some time with my GF but I dont know when exactly. It would be great to mee everyone....

also...I am willing to open my place up to everyone. I live in an apartment thats about 1000sqft so I dont know what everyone would think of that. I live on Lincoln off I25 in Lone Tree so it would be half way for the springs folk as well as the boulder folk.

Let me find out the exact time and date for the party and I will report back. Thoughts on the location?

joe

Tricia and the kids will be with me as well, and most likely around 6 will be good as the scout thing starts at noon and should be done by 430/5.

Marty's place sounds fine to me as well. sorry been out of the loop for a while, just been real busy, and my next day off is not until Friday... :x

So, do we want to do this at my place at around 6PM? Those that want to hang out early are more than welcome to show up at 5PM. Who is going to bring what?

Troy: Chips and drinks

Pete (Parky): plates, bowls (?) and cups, maybe skirt steak? Does that get grilled? Would you cook it here or bring already cooked? What is skirt steak (seriously)?

Ted?
John?
Pete?
Joel?

I think some desert, sides like potato salad, tossed salad, potato wedges, etc. would be good. How about some dinner rolls or cornbread?

Can anyone think of anything for a main coarse? I think I'll make up a big pot of ham, beans and dumplings. That should keep everyone warm in bed for the weekend. How many are bring spouses and how many kids? I have a couple tables and 12 chairs, plus the couches, so if you have any fold up chairs, bring those along just in case.

Ted, do you want to ask Trish if she wants to make a pot of that kick butt stew, incase my ham, beans and dumplings don't work for everyone?

Yeah, we would want to grill it at your house. It is part of a dead cow, but I have no idea which part. :D

I can bring something else, it was just an idea. I will bring all of the eating utensils and plate/bowls. We don't want to have to do dishes!!

Guys let me know if I can bring anything. Unfortunately, it can't really be anything that needs to be kept hot/cold as I'll be in a pool all day and then basically driving straight down to the Springs without getting a chance to go home. So if there is a need for utensils, chips, etc I can take care of that though.

Joel, you could always hit a WalMart on the way and pick up a pound or two of tater salad and/or a bag of rolls. Just a thought.

Just give me a call if you get lost. If you are still planning on bringing strip steak, I have a charcoal grill and a gas grill, and no fuel for either one. So if you want to bring some charcoal, or let me know if you want to use the gas grill, and I will see about getting some gas.
