25 years ago some friends and I were cutting through a rock quarry behind Greenbelt Mall in Maryland and we decided to cut across a pond that looked like "3 inches" of water - turned out to be waist deep muck similar to this mess - thanks for the insight, I always wondered what the hell we got ourselves into.
