I was wondering if anyone can help me diagnose a little front end issue:

First, I have Moog LBJ's and Jeepin Al's Uppers installed - all recently done. I also just had my tires balance and brakes done. Everything is fine on and off the gas - no vibrations, etc. However, when I brake the front end shimmys. The steering wheel rocks and I can feel it in the brake pedal as well. Note: this condition occured prior to the wheel balancing and brake job. Anyone have any thoughts to what it could be? Tie rod ends loose?

Thanks!

Todd

Did they check your brake rotors? Sounds like they are warped to me.

x2 on the rotors, given everything else you said. Probably time to change 'em...

Thanks. That makes the most sense. But wait a minute - I don't even use my brakes... :D

x3 on the rotors, but you may also look into having then put on a brake lathe (turned) insted of just replacing them.

Yup - that was it. Just got her back from the shop. A world of difference! Thanks for the input.
