I can do either but would prefer Sat for multiple reasons. I would more then likely go either day.

I might be able to do Sunday, but highly prefer Saturday also.

I can't see my wife letting me do it, since she's talking about New Year's Eve party stuff.... but I'll ask over the weekend.

JasonK, TokyoJoe - any thoughts?

Ok Guys....
I might be up for this - do not know yet....
I'll be spending my NY in Gatlinburg, TN - somewhere in Pidgeon Forge...
The only way for me to go there is via Livingston... Gatlinburg is about 2.5 hrs south of livingston...
I will be leaving Chicago on Thursday Night and spending the night in southern indianapolis - then leave Friday am to arrive in Gatlinburg around 2 pm.
Was checking driving times to Lexington and it is about 2.5 hrs - I figured - maybe go for a ride and join ya guys....
Do not count on me - this is a big maybe but I do have Moose's cell # and I'll let him know the same day....
let's see what cooks....
Henry

Hey Guys! I am in Ohio and not seeing many KJ's. I guess I am spoiled with Colorado. I wish I had some LOST BUsiness Cards to hand out. I am getting looks from the guys that are in KJ's but the women have no clue or interest, I guess...when they see my KJ. Not that is amazingly bigger or that much more hard core looking, but considering what is out there for our KJ's, I guess it does surprise some.

Okay, for this run, Saturday the 30th is best option. How about some info/specifics:

1. Start time
2. Meeting place (so I can Mapquest it)
3. Expected needs for the trail
4. Length (in time) the trail will take
5. etc, etc, etc.........

Start time & meeting place: I'd like to hit the trail (aired down, gassed up, bladder drained) at exit 49 off of I75 at 9am, which means that those of us coming through Cincy should meet just south of downtown Cincy in Florence, KY at 6:45 (JasonK, can you pick a spot? I think they have a McDonalds). At exit 49, there is one gas station on the west side of the interstate. We meet there.

Trail needs: standard recovery gear, TP, water, lunch. I'll throw in my grill again, and stuff to make hot coco and coffee if anyone wants. we'll do a potluck lunch at the cave again.

Length: 9am till dark. We hope to get through it by 5. I think if we just take the one trail, don't spend too long at lunch, and don't have to operate on anyones car, we can be out at dusk. If it's going slow, we can always take the early exit like last time, or have the renes light the area. I plan on bypassing some of the stuff we did last time; however, those new 32's are going to want to play some :)

Count me in for drinks and chips. I will bring water, Dr. Pepper and Coke unless you want something different.

I agree that by leaving one hour sooner and with our experience from the last trip, we can get to the second part of that trail. I can not wait!

Tokyojoe, not to get off subject here but come to Toledo for a day,KJs everywhere but none modded at all. I am the only one with anything at all except for another one with 18 or 20s and lots of that chrome bling/bling stuff hanging on it.

Hope you guys have fun down there, ordered my skids last night but doubt they will be on by then, esp since I have a quick run to Boston to pick up the wife, then down to D.C. and back to Toledo over Christmas.

Ok - it is official.........!!
I'll be joining you guys for this run - hopefully I'll be ok with the new diff - I'm going to take the rig back to dealer so they can give me a green light and peace of mind when taking it to the trails. Since I've seen how bad it looked when broken, now I have a little hesitation inside me so i need to get it out of my system and what better place to do it than in the trails....

NEW LIST....

Front diff should be fine KJ-BOL. Not to sure if you have a locker or LS, but I didnt spin the entire day. I did in some mud, but nothing that would hurt the front diff. 8)

Did you get a collar yet? :?
