Moose, did you have to rough up the surface for the duraliner to adhere to it?

That looks AWESOME  more info and pics please! It looks pretty smooth, do they have different ways of applying it? Most spray/paint in bedlining material ive seen has a knobbly, rough look to it. How much did that cost to have done? I was debating on whether to paint my flares or try to find darker ones, but this decided it. Theyre getting bedlinered!

Really like the look for sure. Been thinking about trying that, but did not want to try it and have it all flake off. Still would like to see long term effects. Did they do anything special to make it adhere better? just wondering?

I did it myself at work and did it with the spray version.I did clean the surface really well then used a scoch brite pad to scuff. The black on the on the khaki looks increadable in person and well worth the $40 spent on it.It is alittle time consuming though andI think the long term will be fine the key is the prep work not so much the way you apply it.I will get more pics soon.Thank's for the compliment's

Awesome. I will probably do the same thing. Some details on the pre-paint process would be nice.

Had a couple of extra spaces in your link.

Looks real good, If mine fade to grey I will have to do the same thing. And please do a write up with bigger pictures, dont have to be anything fancy, just basic instructions with what you used, With lots of pics of course.

Where did you pick up the cans of paint (Duraliner)? I'd like to do something similar to a few parts I've got coming in the mail over the holiday...

So you say you did these at work...I take it you have prior experience then. Would you say lining your trim was something the average do it yourselfer could pull off or should I take mine to a shop that specializes in it. Theres a place not 5 mins away from me that does rocker panels, flares, ect in addition to beds so I might just do that if it isnt too expensive.

I work at a jeep dealer(sales) and have general experiance with car's.I think as long as you take your time and prep the bimpers good and mask off the are good anyone could do it.Having a garage is a help to but it can be done outside if the condition's are good.I bought the liner at autozone for $7.50 a can plus two scochbrite pad's and you will need tape but I have that at the dealership. One thing you will want to do is mask around the fenders at the crown above the flares on the metal. If you mask it right against the flares when you peel it off it will take the edge off with it.So you will have a cleaner finish with doing it like that and it look's good but will accually paint about a 1/4 inch around the flares. What I did was mask it first and then scuffed the metal and flares. You might also want to get some laquer thinner or solvent to clean the surface with b/c of dirt and silicone you might have put on.But if you can have it done cheap let the shop do it bit I personally like to do all my own stuff.

Another handy tip, if you've ever Armouralled (tire shined) your're flares before, forget about doing it. It'll peel right off in a few weeks.

Well like I said if you get thinner or solvent it will take silicone of anything else off.
