Who has installed a TV antenna into their kj for use on a head unit that is capable of receiving it?

I have one and id like to see who has one and what problems theyve had with what anntenas and where they mounted them?

which is the best of all the different types? which one picks up signals the best?

Depends what kind of antenna it is, most of those tv receivers dont pick much of anything up at all. Just from my experience of installing them (i'm a car stereo installer) the best place is right in the middle of the windsheild above the rear view mirror on CLEAR glass.

This also depends on if its the same type of antenna i'm seeing in my head.
